Just One Look – Harlan Coben (Unputdownable)

This was my first Harlan Coben book and I can’t wait to read more. I have always been a big fan of suspense books that have heart-stopping plots. However, I was on a break for a while, savoring a few cheesy chick-lits. But I’m back to suspense thrillers and I am enjoying it.

Just One Look” is a story about a suburban housewife, Grace Lawson who picks up a roll of developed film at the local Photomat and discovers an old picture stuck in the middle of the family photos. The photograph is an old print depicting her husband, Jack, with other college students. When she shows Jack this strange photograph, he takes off in his car never to return. Grace's hunt for her missing husband, who we learn has been kidnapped, sweeps her back into a nightmare she thought she'd escaped the evening years ago when she survived a rock concert mayhem.

The gripping plot along with the pages that seem to fly by makes this book a very interesting read. I am looking forward to reading his “Tell No One”, which I had bought along with “Just One Look”. I am on a roll here!
