Couplehood - Paul Reiser (Quirky and Amusing)
I finished reading "Couplehood" this weekend. If you are at least 2-3 years into your marriage, this is a book you MUST read. My husband read this book a few months ago and recommended that I should read it too. We could relate to the book in so many ways. There are so many bits from the book that made us laugh out loud. It’s rather funny! I’ve always liked Paul Reiser (from "Mad About You") and maybe that’s one reason why I liked the book even more. I could actually hear him narrate the book. It’s a very tiny book and you could finish it in a couple of hours. He starts off the book on page 145 and he explains why he does that in the “Author’s Warning”. There are so many things I’d like to share about the book, but it would just mean me repeating those jokes. If you've ever questioned whether you are the only one to have these problems, or those really weird thoughts about the person that you love, you will realize you are not. No matter how weird your thoughts (or your problems), you can be certain that Reiser's are weirder. Because my husband liked this book so much, he picked up Paul Reiser’s “Babyhood” too. I’ll get my hands on that as soon as he’s finished reading the book.
